It is no secret that myself and Caz are crafting challenged, we do harp on about our lack of skills a tiny bit. For the most part I am okay that I am not good at making pretty things, but then every now and then I come across pretty craft books and I wish that some divine intervention would occur and whammo I wake up and I can do beautiful stitches and make gorgeous things.
Here are a few books that give me craft pangs:
Sew Darn Cute: 30 Sweet and Simple Projects to Sew and Embellish – by Jenny Ryan
Meet Me at Mikes: 25 Fun and Crafty Projects – by Pip Lincolne
Softies: 22 Friends for you to Sew, Knit and Crochet
Handmade Living: A Designer Collective- by Tania McCartney
every time I do away on a little holiday, I like to visit favourite fabric/haby stores – my two fav’s are in Berry and Bowral. I always buy myself a new book every trip! Just wish I had the time to make things!!
Oh how nice beng able to visit lovely stores – one day am sure you will get to make things Deni (hopefully not when you are 60 :))
