Spotted Giraffe is an interesting, unique and affordable jewellery brand based in Launceston, Tasmania; designing and hand making children’s and women’s jewellery and supplying approximately 30 shops around the country.
All creations are by the very talented Sarah Humphreys. As a Primary School teacher she loved doing all aspects of Art with the children. After the birth of her two daughters, she missed the process of creating, and hence her third ˜child, Spotted Giraffe was born.
Spotted Giraffe has now been in business for five years and Sarah says she loves the business more and more each day.
“I am greatly inspired by nature, especially the floral colour combinations and textures and sometimes just one thing like a simple button can be the catalyst for a new design. Pricing of your own work is difficult but I wanted to have my jewellery accessible to all wallets and am proud that my adult necklaces still retail for $39.95” Says Sarah
